Hershey's Top Holiday Celebration
The highlight of the Hershey community's holiday calendar, it just wouldn't be Christmas without the annual Hershey Symphony Holiday Spectacular concert! For a single matinee and evening performance, the ensemble welcomes the public to revel in the delights of Yuletide inspired arrangements, concertos and carols, as well as a sing-along section that'll fill you with that festive feeling in no time!
In celebration of Leonard Bernstein's 100th Birthday year, the symphony is set to start the evening with the genius composer's Overture to Candide, a sparkling and highly energetic comic operetta that became one of his most popular curtain-raising pieces. Hershey Symphony Young Artist winner Ethan Kim will then take to the stage to display his budding talents during a movement of Grieg's Piano Concerto. There'll also be plenty of classic holiday-time favorites and a few special surprises in store!
