First Time Seeing Her

I never heard of her or her music until my wife made me go to her concert. Although a Christian, I don't listen to Christian music. Start time was 7 with a warm up act that I skipped. Lauren came on around 8:15 and went 2 hours. She goes straight through with a little story telling here and there. Probably around 18 songs. Great, sincere energy and passion..and very pretty. Yes, there's a little heavy Bass from the speakers thumping your chest every now and then, but for the most part, the audio was well balanced and adjusted. They've obviously made improvements after seeing some of the earlier reviews. She has a great voice. And her stage is extended all the way out to the middle of the arena. We were upper deck on the side and could see and hear great. Their video of her while she performed helped. My wife loved it. And I was content. ... Read more

Lauren Daigle at the Pacific Amphitheatre

What a breath of fresh air on multiple fronts! First of all...my wife and I love attending concerts at the Pacific Amphitheatre. Gorgeous outdoor venue with a pleasant, wispy breeze and a half moon that appeared in the sky. Lauren's vocal prowess is remarkable. She has a big voice in a small, energetic package. And we loved her unapologetic expression of faith. While I had not seen her before, I read that some felt she was too reserved about her Christian values, but that wasn't our experience at all. Her band was talented and engaging, though I agree with comments that suggest that her mix was instrumental-heavy, making it difficult to track the lyrics and...with the exception of quieter, thoughtful numbers, enjoy the beauty of her vocal gifts. Finally, we were impressed with how many children and teenagers were in the audience. So beautiful...a night of true inspiration. ... Read more
